Reznet is a connection to the Internet available in all of the King's University College residence rooms.

What can I do with Reznet?
Exchange e-mail, participate in electronic newsgroups and mailing lists, access course registration and online course resources, browse and publish information on the World Wide Web.

What do I need to connect to Reznet?
To connect your computer to Reznet, your computer must have an network interface card with an RJ45/Ethernet connection.

What are the recommended minimum system requirements?
While most computers configured with an network interface card can readily connect to Reznet, though the following specifications are recommended to maximize your Reznet experience:
PC - Pentium III/Celeron/Pentium IV; Windows 98/2000/XP; CD-ROM drive; 64MB RAM
Mac - OS 8.0 or newer
Additionally, antivirus software is required to protect your system.

My computer doesn't have a network interface card! Where can I get one?
Most computers manufactured within the past few years have built-in network interface cards. If your computer does not, a network interface card can be purchased and installed at the following location:

How much does Reznet cost?
The Reznet fee is included in residence costs; there is no additional charge for this service.

How do I sign up for Reznet?
Since the cost for Reznet is included in residence fees, residence students are automatically subscribed. Should you have questions about this arrangement, contact Residence and Conference Services.
